Hi BCTians,

I am pleased to see all you guys in action throughout this month...

Here are the dates in which we played our heart out....

We played a match against Yogesh XI in which our Yogesh played against us on 15.04.07.........
We played good cricket,took six runouts, and in the end we won........

Man of the match Sairaj scored some 20 odd runs and took some three wickets which favoured our win......

The big mistake in that match was our opponents fielded our beloved Yogesh at number 5 that saved us many runs

End score BCT 65 in 12 overs
Yogesh XI 56 in 10.4 overs

Turning point was Six runouts by super fielders of BCT

Team consisted of Sairaj,Halith,Mushi,Mahmud,Mohan,Balaji,Anto,Babu,Moses,Arun(only 10 a team match)


Thanks to our teams effort, we could even play on saturdays with almost 80% strength

Our first 10 wicket 10 over target oriented practice match was first conceived by Mohamed Mustafa on 31 March 2007

It was first tried out in 1 April 2007 with

6.Sreeni
7.Balaji
8.Mohan
9.Sam
10.Moses

Our first target was 80 and we made a score only few shorter than 50 with all wickets out
Our next target was 60 and we made 63 in 9.4 overs with 2 wickets to spare.

Overall top batsmen found their form,
We are working on the middle order

Our Team Account 2007-08

Dear BCTians,

As the summer heat is rising the mercury levels
Lets rise up our adrenaline levels by playing more cricket and beating the heat.

Guys as a cricket crazy organisation we have to rise fund for buying
1.Tennis balls
2.Bat
3.Kit bag(If situation remains the same)

As on April 1 2007, I have requested u all to bear Rs 20 for our cricketing expenses as we dont have any sponsors like Coke/Pepsi/Videocon .

So far our team mates have contributed the following.
1.Sam -Rs 20
2.Mohan -Rs 30
3.Bala - Rs 20

At last we have played one full 14 over game with a team from triplicane which Halith had
arranged on 11.03.07
Our team consists of :

They scored 79 in 14 overs and we 50 in 13 overs

We played double wicket for the first time in our second coming

Venkat & Nagaraj

Moses & Sam

were teammates.

Each team had three overs to play and it had a preset target which no one achieved.
